ReplyDeleteI just wanted to thank you for all of the useful and helpful information you posted on your blog. You provided and I have learned a significant amount from the information you posted. Last week, I read your blog on the codes of ethics and your post and ethics focused mainly on the families. I believe that relating to and working with parents and other family members is an important part of the role of an early childhood educator. Our work with families involves a range of skills. I have found myself being an advocate, a teacher, a mediator, a social worker, and a consultant. So I have been many diverse roles, but I did not mind taking on any of the roles because that is part of my job and I am there for the children and their families as well. Thank you for all of your input in this course!
