Thank you!

"Experts tell us that 90% of all brain development occurs by the age of five. If we don't begin thinking about education in the early years, our children are at risk of falling behind by the time they start Kindergarten."
- Robert. L. Ehrlich

As our current course comes to an end, I want to thank all of my fellow colleagues for taking time to read my blog. I hope I have provided new information to you all through my research about the selected topics. Even if I had not had a chance to comment on your blog, I have learned a great deal from each of you. Your insights and research are opened my thoughts to different cultures and different views on early childhood topics. I wish each of you continued success on your Master’s degree journey.

  2. Truthfully this quote kind of scares me. I think that this quote can be taken in a couple different ways. I agree that there is so much going in little ones heads and that is why I am so fascinated and passionate about early childhood. However, I worry that if it is taken the other way, this kind of thought is what drives preschool curriculum. It makes early childhood curriculum focus on academics instead of process and play. Thank you for all your insights throughout this course!
